A Tiger Hunting Hero stone in Tekkalakote

Hi, Namaskar today I am going to introduce you A tiger hunting herostone. Tekkalakote has monuments of many royal dynasties and one of them is this Tiger Hunting Veeragallu which has become very important.  This place is called Lakshmanakatte and the image of the hero fighting valiantly and killing the tiger with his bharchi is created and the dog below is also trying to bite the tiger.  On the back of the hero is carved a woman with her left hand raised.  These tiger hunting veera stones are very delicately and very ornately carved and it can be assumed that this veera may have been very famous in the region or a famous leader.  One of these plates is inscribed with letters i.e. containing an inscription and according to this inscription is written as Lachumappa, the son of Hanumakka.  On this basis it can be understood that Lakshmana he son of Hanumakka, could be this hero. The sun and moon are engraved on the veera stones which indicate that even the sun and moon are eternal or immortal. There are many such hero stones in our Tekkalakote and they are replicas of heroic sacrifices.  There is a need to carry out more research on these heroic stones.  I am going to introduce new topics in the next video.  thank you

ವಿಜಯನಗರ ಸಾಮ್ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಆಡಳಿತಾವಧಿಯ ದಾನಶಾಸನ ಪತ್ತೆ: ತೆಕ್ಕಲಕೋಟೆ.......{ಮನೋಹರ್ ಸಿ ಎಂ ಮತ್ತು ತಂಡ}

ತೆಕ್ಕಲಕೋಟೆಯಿಂದ ದೇವಿನಗರಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂಚರಿಸುವ ಮಾರ್ಗಮಧ್ಯೆ ಬಲಬದಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಓಬುಳೇಶನ ಗುಡ್ಡದಲ್ಲಿ ಇತ್ತೀಚೆಗೆ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಕಾರ್ಯ ಕೈಗೊಂಡಾಗ ವಿಜಯನಗರ ಸಾಮ್ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಆಳ್ವಿಕೆಯ ಅವಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿನ ಶಾಸನ ಪತ್ತೆಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಸುಂದರ ಪರಿಸರದಿಂದ ಕೂಡಿದ್ದ ಈ ಬೆಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಓಬುಳೇಶನ ದೇವಾಲಯವಿರುವ ಕಾರಣದಿಂದಾಗಿಯೇ ಜನಪದರು ಓಬುಳೇಶನ ಗುಡ್ಡ ಎಂದು ಕರೆಯುವುದು ವಾಡಿಕೆಯಾಗಿದೆ. ದೇವಾಲಯದ ಮುಂಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ದೊಡ್ಡ ಬಂಡೆಯ/ಗುಂಡಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಶಾಸನವನ್ನ ಕೆತ್ತಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಶಾಸನವು ಶಂಖ ಮತ್ತು ಚಕ್ರಗಳ ಸಂಕೇತಗಳನ್ನು ಒಳಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದು ಸುಮಾರು ಏಳು ಸಾಲುಗಳ ಪಾಠವನ್ನು ಒಳಗೊಂಡಿದೆ. ವಿಜಯನಗರ ಸಾಮ್ರಾಜ್ಯದ ತುಳುವ ಮನೆತನದಲ್ಲಿನ  ಪ್ರಖ್ಯಾತ ಅರಸನಾಗಿದ್ದಂತಹ ಅಚ್ಯುತ ಮಹಾರಾಯನ ಆಳ್ವಿಕೆಯ ಕಾಲಕ್ಕೆಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದ್ದಾಗಿದೆ.

ಶಾಸನದ ವಿವರ:
ಮನ್ಮಥ ಸಂವತ್ಸರದ ಅವಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ (ಅಂದರೆ ೧೫೩೫ ರಲ್ಲಿ) ಅಚ್ಯುತ ಮಹಾರಾಯರಿಗೆ ಪುಣ್ಯವಾಗಲೆಂದು ಶ್ರೀಮತು ಸಜಲಮುಂ ವಾರಿಜಮಾನ ಭಾಸ್ಕರ ದೇವರಿಗೆ (ಅಂದರೆ ಕಮಲದ ಮೇಲೆ ನಿಂತಿರುವಂತಹ ಭಾಸ್ಕರ ದೇವರಿಗೆ) ತೆಕ್ಕಲಕೋಟೆಯ ಹೊಕುಳರು ತ್ರಿಮುಚ ಕೋಲಿನ ಅಳತೆಯ ಹೊಲವನ್ನು ದಾನ ನೀಡಿರುವಂತೆ ತಿಳಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ತಪ್ಪಿದವರು ಪಂಚ ಮಹಾಪಾತಕಕ್ಕೆ ಒಳಗಾಗುವರು ಎಂದು ಶಾಪಾಶಯವನ್ನು ಸಹಾ ಬರೆಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.

ಶಾಸನದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಸ್ಕರ ದೇವರನ್ನು ತುಂಬಾ ಸುಂದರವಾಗಿ ವರ್ಣಿಸಲಾಗಿದ್ದು ಇಲ್ಲಿನ ದೇವಾಲಯದ ಪೂರ್ವದ ಹೆಸರು ಭಾಸ್ಕರ ದೇವಾಲಯವಾಗಿತ್ತೆಂದು ತಿಳಿಯಬಹುದಾಗಿದೆ. ಕಾಲಾನಂತರದಲ್ಲಿ ಓಬುಳೇಶನ ದೇವಾಲಯವೆಂದು ಜನಪದರಿಂದ ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ದಿ ಪಡೆದಿರಬಹುದಾಗಿದೆ. ಒಟ್ಟಾರೆಯಾಗಿ ಇದೊಂದು ದಾನ ಶಾಸನವೆಂದು ತಿಳಿಯಬಹುದು. ತೆಕ್ಕಲಕೋಟೆಯ ವರವಿನ ಮಲ್ಲೇಶ್ವರ ದೇವಾಲಯದ ಬಳಿ ಇರುವ ಶಾಸನವು ಸಹಾ ಅಚ್ಯುತರಾಯನ ಆಳ್ವಿಕೆಯ ಅವಧಿಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದ್ದಾಗಿದ್ದು ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ಪತ್ತೆಯಾದ ಶಾಸನವು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ವಿವರ  ಸಂಗ್ರಹಿಸಲು ಸಹಕಾರಿಯಾಗಿದೆ.

An inscription dating back to the reign of the Vijayanagara Empire was discovered during recent field work at Obuleshana Gudda on the right side of the route from Tekkalakote to Devinagar.  Due to the fact that there is a temple of Obulesh on this hill with beautiful environment, it is customary to call it as Obulesh hill.  In front of the temple there is an inscription carved on a large rock/bullet.  The inscription consists of symbols of conch and chakras and contains a lesson of about seven lines.  It belongs to the reign of Achyuta Maharaya who was a famous king of the Tuluva dynasty of Vijayanagara Empire.

 Inspiration Details:

 During the Manmatha samvatsara (i.e. 1535) Shrimatu Sajalamum mentions that the Hokula of Tekkalakote donated a field measuring three three sticks to Varijamana Bhaskara Deva (i.e. Bhaskara standing on a lotus) as a boon to Achyuta Maharaya.  It is also written that those who fail to do so will be subjected to Pancha Mahapataka.

 Bhaskara God is described very beautifully in the inscription and it can be understood that the earlier name of the temple here was Bhaskara temple.  Over time it may have come to be popularly known as the temple of Obulesh.  On the whole this can be understood as a charity inscription.  An inscription near the Malleswara temple of Varava, Thekkalakote dates back to the reign of Saha Achyutaraya and the recently discovered inscription is helpful in gathering more details.

ಈ ಪ್ರಪಂಚವು ಉಗಮವಾದ ಘಳಿಗೆಯಿಂದಲೇ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಜೀವರಾಶಿಯು ತನ್ನ ಅಸ್ತಿತ್ವದ ಉಳಿವಿಗಾಗಿ ಪರಿತಪಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಬದುಕನ್ನು ಸಾಗಿಸುತ್ತಿವೆ. ಇವೆಲ್ಲವುಗಳ ಮಧ್ಯೆ ಮಾನವನ ಜೀವನವು ಉಳಿದೆಲ್ಲಾ ಜೀವರಾಶಿಗಳಿಗಿಂತ ಭಿನ್ನ. ಮಾನವನು ಸಂಘಜೀವಿ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿಕೆ ನೀಡಿದ ಅರಿಸ್ಟಾಟಲ್‌ ರವರು ಮಾನವನ ವಿಕಾಸವನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ಸಾಕಷ್ಟು ಅಧ್ಯಯನ ಕೈಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದರು. ಪರಸ್ಪರ ಆತ್ಮೀಯತೆ, ಸ್ನೇಹ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರೀತಿ ವಾತ್ಸಲ್ಯಗಳಿಂದ ಕೂಡಿದ ಸಂವಹನ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬರಲ್ಲೂ ಸಹ ಒಂದು ಉತ್ತಮ ಬಾಂಧವ್ಯವನ್ನು ರೂಪಿಸಲು ಕಾರಣವಾಗಬಲ್ಲದು. ಇರಲಿ ಇವೆಲ್ಲಾ ವಿಷಯಗಳು ತಮಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತುಂಟು ಹಾಗಾಗಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಸ್ತಾಪಿಸಲ್ಲ.

        ಈ ಮೇಲಿನ ಪಟವನ್ನ ಸೆರೆಹಿಡಿಯುವಾಗ ಅದೆನೋ ಒಂದು ರೀತಿ ಖುಷಿಯಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಕಾರಣ ಬದುಕನ್ನು ಸಾಗಿಸಲು ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬರೂ ಕೂಡ ಏನಾದರೂ ಒಂದು ಕಾಯಕವನ್ನ ಮಾಡಲೇಬೇಕು ಇದು ಸಾರ್ವತ್ರಿಕ. ಆದರೂ ಈ ಪಟದಲ್ಲಿನ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯು ತನ್ನ ಕಾಯಕದ ಜೊತೆಯಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ತನ್ನ ಅರ್ಧಾಂಗಿ ಮತ್ತು ಭವಿಷ್ಯದ ಭರವಸೆಯಾದ ಮಗುವಿನ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಯನ್ನು ಕೂಡ ಹೊತ್ತು ತನ್ನ ಬೆನ್ನ ಹಿಂದೆಯೇ ರಕ್ಷಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವನು. ಅಷ್ಟುಮಾತ್ರವಲ್ಲ ಆ ಮಗು ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆ ಮತ್ತು ತಾಯಿಯ ಬೆಚ್ಚನೆಯ ರಕ್ಷಾ ಕವಚದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂತಸದಿಂದ ನಲಿದಾಡುವುದನ್ನ ಕಂಡು ಅವರ ತಂದೆ ಮತ್ತು ತಾಯಿಯು ಅದೆಷ್ಟೋ ನೋವಿನ ಕ್ಷಣಗಳನ್ನು ಮರೆತು ಇನ್ನು ಮುಂದೆಯಾದರೂ ನಮ್ಮ ಮಗುವಿಗಾಗಿ ಸುಂದರ ಬದುಕನ್ನ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳೋಣ ಎಂಬ ಭರವಸೆಯನ್ನ ಮನದಾಳದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಚಿಗುರೊಡೆದುಕೊಂಡಂತೆ ಭಾಸವಾಗುತ್ತಿತ್ತು.

      ಹೀಗೆ ಪ್ರಯಾಣವು ಕೇವಲ ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಸುವವರನ್ನ ಮಾತ್ರವಲ್ಲ ನಮ್ಮ ಬದುಕಿನ ಕ್ಷಣಗಳನ್ನ ಕೂಡ ಒಮ್ಮೆ ಮೆಲುಕು ಹಾಕಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಲು ಕಾರಣವಾಗಬಲ್ಲವು. ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬ ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಕನು ತನ್ನದೇ ನೋವು ನಲಿವುಗಳನ್ನ ಹೊತ್ತಿದ್ದರೂ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನ ಮರೆಮಾಡಲು ಈ ಸಂಚಾರವು ಸುಂದರ ಮಾರ್ಗವಾಗಿದೆ...
